It is a very popular notion that antioxidants play a significant role in reducing the risk of cancer. They do so by eliminating free radicals. Free radicals are the cells that have "gone out of control" and therefore, damage to the good cells.

Aging Gracefully By Understanding Your Body's pH
The thought of aging usually starts to creep in the moment a person reaches their midlife point. The thought becomes just a little bit more nagging when the body begins to send us little subtle messages. These messages may be when you look in the mirror and the person staring back at you isn't as pleasing anymore; or maybe when you wake up in the morning with a little bit more aches and pains here and there.
The thing is, aging doesn't have to be a burden. One can probably look at it as another door being opened to lead us into another place and another adventure.
