Is that possible? Has the author finally lost it? Fun with stress? No way.
Way!
You've probably heard it a thousand times before, the people who thrive under pressure. They only come up with their best work if they are buried under a ton of stress. It's not a myth, and it sure as heck isn't unachievable. It's just a matter of mental outlook and perspective.
So with that theme, let's proceed with the fun part. You've probably seen these pictures before in another website. In fact, I'm not even sure as to their authenticity but if not for anything else, I found them to take a chunk of my daily stress away. So here is picture number 1. After looking at it, click "continue" to look at the other pictures.
Okay, now stare some more at these other two pictures:
These images were sent to me by email and it was said that these patterns were used to test the level of stress a person can handle. Now as I said before, I can't vouch if that's for real or not. The email further says that the slower the pictures move, the better your ability is at handling stress.
Criminals that were tested with these images see them spinning like crazy. However, senior citizens and kids see them standing still. And the truth is, those images really are still.
So here's how I have a little fun with these images. When I look the images over, it does appear to me that the objects are moving or spinning, some fast, some slow. Now try staring at the very center of each image. Stare intently for a few seconds. When I do that, I find that all the objects come to a grinding halt.
So what's the moral of the story?
When faced with a stressful task, put your entire focus squarely on the matter and don't let other things distract you. That should make overcoming the task that much easier. Easier said than done? Judge yourself based on how well you make the objects on the images stop.
Have fun!
